That is why we have developed a mobile photovoltaic system with the aim of achieving maximum use of solar energy while at the same time being compact in design, easy to transport and quick to set up. The on-grid version of the solarfold container is connected directly to the public power grid and can supply up to 40 single-family homes with the energy produced (energy requirement of 3,500 kW/year/single-family house). The solarfold on-grid container can also be expanded with various storage solutions.

Based on an average power consumption of a 4-person household of 4000 kWh per year and a location in Southern Germany, the solar container can supply approx. 32 households with climate-friendly electricity. At a location in Southern Europe it can even be up to 50 households due to the high solar radiation.
