How to connect the bridge to the battery cabinet

Remove the side panels that are adjacent to the other battery cabinets. Push the right-most battery cabinet into position. For seismic anchoring, ensure that the rear seismic bracket connects to the rear anchors. Lower the levelling feet until they connect with the floor - use a bubble-leveler to ensure that the cabinet is level.

To successfully connect car batteries, you'll need a few essential tools on hand. Start with a socket wrench or a wrench kit, as it's vital for loosening and tightening the battery terminal fasteners securely. A terminal brush is also important; it helps clean the battery terminals and cable clamps, ensuring a solid electrical connection.

Attach the negative clamp (black) to the good battery's negative terminal. Attach the clamp at the opposite end of the negative cable to an unpainted metal surface such as a bolt, bracket, or engine mount—away from the battery of the discharged vehicle.

It's important to know which terminal is which to avoid mixing them up. Connecting the cables to the wrong terminals can cause sparks or even damage your car's electrical system. When you're connecting a battery, always start with the positive terminal. This means you'll connect the positive cable first.

Connecting the negative terminal last helps prevent any sparks or shorts, which can happen if you accidentally touch metal parts with the positive cable while it's connected. If you're jump-starting a car, you should also connect the cables in this order. First, attach the positive cable to the dead battery's positive terminal.

Reinstall the left side panel on the left-most battery cabinet after interconnection. Push the third battery cabinet into position, align with the seismic anchoring (if any), level the battery cabinet, and interconnect with the other battery cabinets as described in step 2, step 3, and step 5.
